Hi all,
Thought of posting after a long time coz of my friend.I was transferred from Mysore to Hyderabad for a training and again got transferred to Bangalore.I knew only a few people at Bangalore.I was not happy really,since i wanted to search for a new hostel to stay in.I didn't have friends at Bangalore too. I struggled really hard . Then came my friend Nisha ,i knew her at Hyderabad . So me,Nisha,her friends Raji,Sasi searched for a good PG to stay and finally found it.

Hostel life taught us many things..An independent living.
Sasi comes late almost at midnight.So,we used to sleep by that time almost.Only smiles we can see in my room.we got many friends out there in almost all languages.
Now Nisha is leaving to Chennai,she got transferred.she is so happy ,after 4 transfers,she is going to stay permanently at home,need not plan travel anymore.But we are going to miss her a lot,now her bed is vacant,her memories still remains in our heart.
All the best for her.

Generic comprehensive examinations were over; there was a big noise and big discussion amongst everybody in my batch about stream allocations. I finished my exams and went asleep in the evening itself :) . When I returned to class there was a huge gang of my friends standing beside me and said, Ramya u gotta move to Hyderabad for your stream training. I felt really bad, I never wanted to miss Mysore. It was such a nice campus and people there are very kind and all my friends are there and the training there was very good. Same thing happened when I left Chennai when I missed home. ”I would be happy if I get hometown posting”, I hear this from at least one almost daily, each one have their own problems and reasons.

Some of my friends are posted in Chennai, even they are not happy they want their preferred stream. Those who are at Hyderabad needs Bangalore. Some are saying that they want to roam around, don’t want to be at home town. So nobody is happy with what they have..
Even I am one among that category ,not an exception. Probably because my training is going to get over and I am going to be posted somewhere in North.

Broadly if we see, when are we people going to get satisfied?
We are getting frustrated when we are paid less,
Even if we are paid more, we are not satisfied, we want a vacation, then we need a car and then again some needs will be born new. Most part of our life is being spent in worrying for something that we don’t have. When will we have everything so that we can feel happy?

There are many obstacles we have in this world ,but aren't those obstacles life?

Let us not wait for the school bell to ring, for the end of board exams, wait for holidays, till we get high TPI, till the project is over, or till Friday evening.
Be happy now,
Enjoy this moment.
Keep smiling till your problems run away.

Give others freedom to be themselves

Hi all,

“Give others freedom to be themselves. Appreciate the differences between their ways and yours.”

This is a SMS message that I got today as an early morning greeting. Yes, every individual needs freedom. Each of us behave in a different way and the difference only makes us to be individualistic from each other.

For those who look up for affection,it is not wrong,but don’t force others to behave in the way u want. We don’t have rights to march into personal space of others .Each of us is different. Value, welcome, realize and appreciate those differences. If u really care, understand them; let them to enjoy freedom, give them space. Relationships grow older and bond best with those who don’t invade that space.

Time is one of the big constraints in this fast moving world, we barely know neighbor’s face in big apartments. Unloading heart doesn’t happen easily. The pressures of being individualistic also bring with it the baggage that we rarely unpack and share. When you are so busy you need to look more into yourselves, and that’s the fact too.

“But when a person whom you love very much, trust a lot, hurts you, ignores you, No one can heal the wound left, no one can imagine the pain caused, even the same person cannot.”

If you’re trusted and people will allow you to share their inner gardens...what better gift?

Navarathiri

Hi all,

Navarathiri-one of my favorite festivals. It stands for nine nights which are dedicated to three Goddess’: Durga (Goddess of bravery), Lakshmi (Goddess of wealth), and Saraswathi (Goddess of knowledge) each for three days respectively.
Golu (rows of Clay dolls of god are arranged in steps) is the most important thing for Navarathiri in Tamilnadu.
This year, there is a new arrival at my home. My cousin 2 years old is adding fun to the celebration. I and my sister are at holidays. My father is busy at setting up of fancy lights,
We used to do some poojas during morning. I am trying out some new cuisines too. My mother prepares her as usual ‘sundal’.
Children wear fancy dresses and invite everyone for golu at their homes. People who come to golu sing devotional songs and are given thaamboolam. One good thing I noticed is people switched off their TV serials and exchanged greetings among each other. There are some Telugu and Gujarathi families nearby each celebrating this festival in their own way.
In this fast moving world, when people have no time to stand and stare, this type of festivals creates real fun, we meet old friends, relatives, also add new friends, all along with the blessings of the deity. This brings joy and peace. :)
